I’m Chelsea, the mom behind these book lists.
I spend way too much time looking for the best kids books for our family that are Montessori aligned.
I went to a Montessori School as a toddler and I feel like it gave me a strong foundation in life. When I had my son I knew I wanted to incorporate Montessori philosophy.
I’ve spent a lot of time working with kids and reading children’s books. My very first job in high school was babysitting then I went on to be a Nanny to toddlers and school age kids while I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. During my college years I spent time student teaching in the Speech Therapy Clinic. After graduation I worked as an assistant in a Montessori pre-school classroom. In 2023 I became a mom to my wonderful son and now I spend too much of my free time researching Montessori books to build us a beautifully curated library.
I haven’t been able to find any comprehensive lists of Montessori books for kids, and our home library is all the books I wish were on a list, so Montessori Books for Kids Blog was born.
